Elastic Waist Skirt

HERE is the tutorial I used. It's supposed to look more like this, but I made mine a little shorter (I am only 5 foot 1 here) and I am also 9 months pregnant. So I didn't bother trying it on. I am just assuming that it will fit post baby (hello elastic waistband).
ALSO I am still unsure why my computer feels the need to upload pictures sideways. Seriously. It's started to bug a mother.
I loved this fabric. It's really green looking, not so much brown in person. And the orange/red flowers are cute as heck. I can't wait to have this baby, and wear it. I'll be making more soon.

Scrap Headbands

I should probably have taken these pictures in better lighting. That's okay, you forgive me right? I made both of these out of scraps I've had lying around. Even the flowers. I love cheap projects. If you look closely I tried to experiment a little with the stitching.

Here is zig zag...
Here I just did 3 lines, something to mix it up, give it texture....
What do you think?

I kept my word

Another hooter hider. Only this time it's for me! Muhahahaha. I bought one with my first son and am now kicking myself for spending almost $40. The reason I did ruffles with the zeebra was because it was remnant fabric and I had a looooong narrow strip. I did ties on the neck instead of "d" rings cause I suck at those. Polyester boning is what gives it the "chimney" so you can see what you're trying to do.
Any other questions?

My 'most proud' project

I feel like I have a pretty good reason for the slacking of posts lately. I'm almost 38 weeks pregnant! That's a big thing to make!

I am attempting a hooder hider for myself at naptime today, not like I can't do it, we'll just see if it actually get's made. I'll keep you "posted". Hahah get it? Wow. Tough crowd.

Rice Bags

If you don't know what these are....shame on you. Actually I can't believe I've waited til now to make one! It's flannel, thread, and rice. Pretty easy! I used long grain white rice. Then when you have an "owie" you warm it in the microwave for 2 minutes.
